This book is volume 1 of 8 about famous people. The printed edition has 322 pages and many pictures in it. It is possible to find an e-book version with the pictures on the web. The version with the pictures takes up a lot of the memory-space on your Kindle (over 3 MB), the versions without pictures need less than 500 KB. On average each life history is app. 10 pages in the printed version.
I enjoyed reading this book: it told me a bit more than I knew about some of the very famous people whose stories are told here, but it also told the stories of some people I knew nothing about. This book is an easy and nice read; it is interesting for people who are interested in history, or also for people who are not really interested in history but like to read short stories about real people.
