It's not quite a cyberpunk short story, but close. Jerry is hired to find out why the space station's AI system experiences occasional slowdowns. He investigates the researchers using the computer and finds unauthorized research being conducted by a driven scientist. And love. The sex is low-key and well-done. The characters are well-drawn. The plot is a bit leisurely and predictable, but overall it's a good story.
