Those who fell in love with "Adventures in Contentment" and the man who went straight into nature's heart and read her message, will welcome with delight this "Adventures in Friendship." The beauty of the open is in every page.

David Grayson was the pen name of Ray Stannard Baker, a journalist who wrote a very successful series of books about the small, peaceful things in life. This series -- "The Adventures of David Grayson," "Adventures in Contentment," etc. -- was designed to bring contentment to the reader by illustrating the beauty of a life in the country lived simply and honestly. As with other volumes in the series, "Adventures in Friendship" is an enchanting and soothing read, and takes the reader back to a time when this kind of life was possible. Highly recommend.
