and found the soldiers waiting. The Captain watched her, his brow furrowed. The others whispered among themselves. Panic gripped her again. They should not be here. Not this early.

Smoke drifting on the breeze snapped her out of her reverie. She turned to see thin blue-gray wisps floating out of the rear windows. This is a good book. It\'s only partly incoherent, and if you object to doing a little light editing yourself then why are you reading free stuff?

The writing is better than 90% of what\'s out there, the story is standard but holds your attention (and if you object to that, then why are you reading genre?), the characters are likeable, and if this is the first of a trilogy, then some of the apparent illogic might be explained later.

I would read more by this author, which is a nice change.
This is a terrible book. It is largely incoherent and full of grammatical errors. The characters are either stereotypes or utterly unbelievable and much of their dialogue is fake folksy, e.g. I be thinking you be writing rubbish.

Much scheming and outdoor action in this Psi-Fantasy novel. I'm not sure if there are such women as emotional as the protagonist. Nothing unusual but it kept me.
