This is a light and very readable book about a baseball star who joins a group of all-stars traveling the world. It is a travelogue, a baseball story, a light romance, a mystery and moral story. I understand that under different pen names this author also wrote the Tom Swift books, the Bobbsie Twins books and others as well. I enjoyed this book because it was well written and from a time of innocence.
