The mystery is acceptable and the inequality and restricted freedoms of a woman back in the day are interesting, but dear God the pace is soooo slow. Marian's entries are interesting but I can't stand most of the others

This book is so boring, it might as well be a history book for how boringly it is written. Also the old language makes it hard to read

Tarzan is such a good book despite its age, a lot of old classic books are boring where nothing happening in them (like 20,000 leagues under the sea); Tarzan is so interesting with such a good plot [note; it will not make sense unless you have read the four previous books]

The romance is so-so but the time travel and ethics of it is absolutely excellent

An excellent mystery then action post-zombie story

So many twists and turns what an excellent medieval tale of betrayals, deception and a little bit of romance
